The webpage of Tim Volpe

Hello! Thank you for checking out my website.
My name is Tim Volpe, and I am working to maintain a career in the videogame industry. My goal is to get a job as a software developer, ideally as a gameplay programmer or possibly a tools programmer, with an eye toward becoming a lead game designer or project manager. In the meantime, I am looking to leverage my experience as a QA Tester into a senior or lead position, or utilize my technical background in a QA engineer role.
I am a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute as of March of 2009. I majored in Interactive Media and Game Development, focusing on the Technical track, and graduated With Distinction. I have previously earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (2001).
Please check out my portfolio to see some of the projects I have worked on, including games, animation and comics.
I have several versions of my résumé online.
The personal section of this website is for showing off some of my other interests, links and other tidbits of information.
I have started a blog to share some of my experiences about the game industry, as well as explain some of my favorite games.
I’ve also left several ways of getting in touch with my via the Contact page.
Recent News

5/31/2012 – As you may have heard, the recent situation at 38 Studios has left me once again looking for new employment. So I’ll be doing that, and making some long-overdue updates to the website, including the blog.
